And I think I was offered a slightly different translation every time I popped it into online translators out of curiosity. It obviously can’t be far off from the English tranquil, but many nuances seem to me possible in Spanish. I’m not sure if any single one is correct, or all of them. Since I started spending more time in Spain last year, I think I’ve detected at least three different usages of the adjective (Spanish speakers, go easy please. ![]() To be honest, I’m still a little confused about the meaning of tranquilo as I try to get my Spanish to an un-embarrassing level. ![]() (A short dispatch from the road because I know the word count on Invasive Species probably melted your brain.) ![]()
